  1. Market Research Analyst

  • Create, maintain, coordinate, and communicate the Marketing/Merchandising calendar throughout the organization

  • Maintain company category hierarchy and perform category management tasks to optimize product lines and reduce redundancies in categories.

  • Assist in evaluating and on-boarding vendors and products

  • The candidate will possess experience in research execution – defining research objectives and methodology, managing projects, analyzing data and communicating results

  • Required knowledge, and daily use of, marketing research best practices, oversight for data integrity, extraction and integration of data from various collection points to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting

  • Facilitate demos and customer trainings

  • Work in conjunction with marketing department on various social media projects and events

Requirements:

  • Passion and knowledge of sake, and food!

  • Strong selling and up-selling skills, self-starter go-getter attitude, and eagerness to build a book of business

  • Unrivaled communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Never-ending “get-it-done” mindset

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or other quantitative field required

  • Comfortable with all pieces of the research process, including research design, research execution, analysis, report creation and delivery of insights

  • Ability to analyze data and extract the most critical information that provide important audience or market insights
